About O2 Blue Consult
O2 Blue Consult was founded by Joubert Krugel from a personal and professional journey shaped by senior leadership experience, resilience, and a belief that people come before strategy. Trained as a pharmacist and later completing an MBA, Joubert rose to executive level in a global organisation, where he saw first-hand how even the best strategies fail when leaders and teams are overwhelmed or disconnected.
The name O2 Blue reflects the heart of the work. O₂ represents oxygen—creating space for leaders to breathe again under pressure. Blue draws from water and sky: water symbolising replenishment when capacity is depleted, and sky representing clarity, perspective, and the ability to work on the business rather than being trapped in it. Together, O2 Blue stands for helping leaders regain clarity, energy, and direction.
O2 Blue Consult is built on three guiding principles: questioning the status quo, putting people first, and creating breathing space. Joubert works side by side with leaders, starting with the individual, then the team, and finally the business. Through practical tools, disciplined yet human processes, and deep listening, he helps leaders move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to leading with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
